Time is Precious
Time is the most undervalued and unappreciated facet of life; its the only thing that you cant get back next to death. Somehow, we not only spend time, but we also waste it. Before starting a financial business with my husband, I remember wasting lots of time. Time that I wish I could get back. Since I can only move forward and not back, I want to maximize my time now to spend time, without the worry of money, later.
Time is Money
Time spent, is that which will give you some sort of return based on the time you’ve spent in the act. The return however, may or may not be worth the value of your time, but you still receive the exchange. Furthermore, we waste time listening to the latest gossip, watching new TV shows, and frivolous hobbies like video games and surfing Facebook.
Have you ever wondered if these things are indeed for entertainment, or to consume your time so that you have no time at all for more important things like business ownership?
Time is Freedom
The true definition of slavery is a practice or system that exhaust your freedom. To give you a better idea, lets break time down.
There are 24 hours in a day, and only 7 days a week. Multiply, 24 hours times 7 days a week, for a total of 168 hours in a week. Next, there are 52 weeks in a year; multiply 52 weeks times 168 hours per week, totaling 8,736 hours per year.
Is it just me, or does 8,736 hours seem like very little time?
In addition, many of us are working 40 hours a week at our J.O.B, also known as Just Over Broke. Multiply 52 weeks by 40 hours per week, and you’ve exchanged 2,080 hours for your current salary or hourly position; not including overtime.
Subsequently, you return home after a long day at work for “rest”. Most of us need at least 6-7 hours of sleep per night. Lastly, multiply 7 hours of sleep by 7 days a week for 49 hours of sleep per week. Afterwards, take 49 hours and multiply it by 52 weeks in a year, equaling 2,548 hours of sleep per year; not including naps.
The “system” has exhausted most your time; and you’ve been wasting the reminder.
STOP WASTING TIME
There are 8,736 hours in a year; subtract 2,080 hours spent at work and 2,548 hours of sleep, the “system” only gives you 4,108 hours per year to become GREAT! Yet, you defend this system! You continue to deny business opportunities to teach you freedom, but you are continuously comfortable with your system exhausting your time; for pennies a day!
You control your freedom, but continuing to go each day without pursuing your dreams only means more time wasted.
Spend every moment doing something that will give you more time later!
